As a Church in Wales Aided School, the Governing Body of the School is responsible for the admission of pupils. Admission forms can be obtained from the School or by downloading the form at the bottom of this page. The timescale of the Local Authority (LA) admission timetable is followed for the handing out, consideration period and return of application forms, and also the date for informing parents whether their child has been successful in obtaining a place.

The School Standards and Framework Act 1998 requires LAs and Governing Bodies to admit pupils up to the school’s admission number (AN). The Admission Number (AN) for the school is 20.
Admission to the Primary School
Pupils are admitted to Reception in the academic year in which they are five, i.e. any child who attains the age of four by 31st August can be admitted in September.
All applicants will be admitted to the school unless the number of applications exceeds the admission number (AN). In the event that the number of applications exceeds the number of places available, then the following oversubscription criteria will be applied in the order set out below, to decide which pupils to admit.
Powys Local Authority has changed the age of admission for pupils attending its schools so that from 1 September 2017 there will be only one school intake in each school year - at the beginning of the Autumn Term after a child has attained their 4th birthday.
Having a place at a nursery or pre-school class does not guarantee a place in the main school at age 4. You will still need to apply for a place in the main school. If you don’t apply for a place, and your preferred school is full, preference will be given to those who have applied.
You can apply for a school place by completing the form below.
