Child Protection, Safeguarding and Pupil Welfare
The school has a duty of care and the right to take reasonable action to ensure the welfare and safety of its pupils.
If any member of staff, parent or volunteer has cause to be concerned that a pupil may be subject to ill treatment, neglect or any other form of abuse the school will not hesitate to follow Child Protection Procedures and inform the Social Services Department of its concerns.
These procedures are laid out by the Area Child Protection Committee, adopted by Powys LA and are a statutory duty. If you want to know more about this procedure or have a copy of our Child Protection Policy and Procedures please speak to the Head teacher.
